Aromatics of ripe plum, black cherry and dried figs lift from the glass. This bright and cheery version of Tempranillo opens with juicy and youthful red fruits with hints of leather, clove and iron minerality on the palate. Although this wine shines with New World Style, this wine is still Tempranillo at heart with those classic rustic and dusty tannins like its older cousin overseas.
Planted in 1996 on steep hillsides and a rolling valley at the confluence of sun, wind and sea. The vineyard weathers 40◦ diurnal shifts. The extremity of the climate creates fruit of uncommon concentration and uniform ripeness.
