Seville oranges + Sri Lankan cardamom combine to create an elegant and aromatic marmalade with julienned peel and only a touch of bitterness.

This is made in the traditional British marmalade manner, so it is tart, even a little bitter. Many of our European customers love our marmalade, having been in search good marmalade in the States.

Seville oranges are perfect for marmalade with their flavorful, deep orange peel and juice that packs a pucker. Our marmalade is infused with slender threads of peel; we zest by hand, carefully avoiding the white pith to avoid its bitterness 

The rind is neither blanched nor soaked, so all the citrus oils are preserved.  This combination gives our marmalade a rich citrus flavor with only a hint of bitterness.  Our Seville oranges come from an organic farm near Orland run by a husband and wife team.

Our Fairtrade cardamom is from Sri Lanka and is certified organic. Regarded as the queen of spice, cardamon is carefully paired with our Seville orange preserves to yield a tart marmalade with muted but distinctive spice overtones.
